Free Period Products

Our pupils do not have to pay for period products. They can be expensive, and the Scottish Government aim to remove this financial pressure by funding schools to provide them for free.

The scheme also aims to reduce the stigma surrounding periods through education and awareness raising, whilst respecting individual dignity. Products are accessible without the need to ask.

We also have a variety of products available in the pink cabinets throughout the school. These are located in the Art Department, PE Changing, Guidance Base and Medical Room. Alternatively, you can ask at the reception desk.

You can order these online here using the form below. Please allow two school days notice before your order is ready to collect from the Home Economics Department. Packs can be made up for use over the longer school breaks like holiday time, weekends, or simply for keeping a stock at home.

Please see Perth & Kinross Council's information video below to the free period product scheme. In school, we are trying to make access to these products as freely and easily as possible.
